Different people react to light differently. Some of us need lots of light to experience its benefits and some of us just need a little light to experience the same benefits. For this reason, there are some HappyLight® models that allow you to customize the light.
The HappyLight® Touch LED Light Therapy Lamp has different brightness or intensity settings (high, medium and low) so you can choose the light intensity that works best for you.
If you are interested in the light intensity (i.e., lux measurement) for the different settings, here they are:*
HappyLight® Touch LED Light Therapy Lamp
- High: 10,000 lux
- Medium: 6,600 lux
- Low: 3,300 lux
*These measurements are for using the light at a distance of 6” (like while reading a book and having the book between you and your HappyLight) for 20-30 minutes. If the distance increases, then you’ll want to increase your usage time to get the equivalent benefits of the lux measurements above.
