I am sensitive to light. Which HappyLight® is best for me?

If you are sensitive to light, you'll likely want to get a HappyLight® that allows you to adjust the light intensity until it's just right for you. 

The HappyLight® Liberty Full-Size Light Therapy Lamp allows for the most customization of light. It has a high/low setting as well as two lenses (High Energy and Comfort), so altogether there are four different combinations of light. This gives you lots of flexibility. Here are the different light intensity (i.e., lux) outputs*:

• High Energy Lens on High: 10,000 lux
• High Energy Lens on Low: 7,500 lux
• Comfort Lens on High: 5,000 lux
• Comfort Lens on Low: 3,500 lux

The HappyLight® Touch LED Light Therapy Lamp has three different light brightness settings - (high, medium and low). Here are the different light intensity (i.e., lux) outputs*:

• High: 10,000 lux
• Medium: 6,600 lux
• Low: 3,300 lux

The HappyLight® Liberty Compact Light Therapy Lamp has one 5,000 lux setting, which means it has a lower intensity. 

*These measurements are for using the light at a distance of 6” (like while reading a book and having the book between you and your HappyLight®) for 20-30 minutes. If the distance increases, then you’ll want to increase your usage time to get the equivalent benefits of the lux measurements above.
